Denny joins FIRA in 2008..  He has no prior experience in general racing, but with 30 years as a law enforcement officer in Wisconsin, he has extensive experience driving in heavy traffic, on poor road conditions  and in severe weather in a squad car and an ambulance as a Police Officer/EMT (emergency medical technician).  This includes mandatory annual training & re-certification in EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operation Course).

“Joining FIRA has allowed me to awaken from a childhood dream of driving an Indy-type open-wheel car.  This is a terrific retirement hobby”.   Denny is driving the red #73 machine, a predator chassis powered by a Polaris 600cc engine.   “Instead of pursuing the bad guys  (been there, done that),  I’m now running with the good guys!  Hope to see you at  the track!”
