Some thoughts on rules for 2009

1. Track payout's be given to the drivers following each race
for the next two years.  Maybe this will help bring out more drivers and help with fuel costs.  The payout schedule shall revert back to current 2008 rules at that time.

2. Wave the $15 dollar race fee for one year only(2009). Exception to the two year rule. 

3. Add three (3) inches to the width rule to accommodate running two ten inch wide tires on designated road courses only (Milwaukee Mile).

4. Tires:  Eliminate the word "Type" when describing tires. Listing Hoosier tires is definitive.

5. If FIRA votes to race with RORI in 2009, the FIRA president and PR director shall meet with RORI about scheduling for 2009. 
All communications with the race tracks for scheduling shall be approved or directed to PR and the president for continuity of the scheduling efforts.
